connection monitor / roaming

Hello guys,

First, I'm glad to see that you are working on a new version of the mcsf :)

Having used the first version of the mcsf, I found out that something that I missed was the ability to have a different behavior when the device is roaming (SystemState.PhoneRoaming).

For instance, I might have a flat rate with my telco subscriber and therefore setup a high price for my cell connection but when I am roaming then I don't want to use the connection as it might cost me too much.

Hi Laurent,

The scenario you mention is not supported out of the box, but the ConnectionMonitor is easily extensible so you can create a CellRoamingConnection based on CellConnection, validating the SystemState.PhoneRoaming value in there, and modifying the CellConnection to behave as disconnected when the device is roaming.

Then, you can configure the cost for each connection separately.

Thanks for your feedback!
